A BRIEF HISTORY

Grundy County Museum, located at 1100 Mable Street in Trenton Missouri, is sponsored and supported by the Grundy County Historical Society and began in 1976 as a Bi-Centennial project. The Museum facilities includes Baker School, a fully restored one-room school house, the Annex building and the Main Museum building with three floors of items and displays reflecting the community and the accomplishments of its citizens. For detailed information about the museum buildings and contents see the Historical Buildings Page.
